Alethea
Lead Receptionist
Alethea has loved working with animals her whole life. She started grooming dogs and
cats right out of high school and went on to win awards. She has also worked for large
Specialty Vet Hospitals, trying her hand at many areas from ICU to ultrasound tech.
Alethea's biggest love is working with horses; she has had many horse jobs throughout
her life, including working with the famous Budweiser Clydesdales. She was working as
a groom with Hunter/Jumper horses for the past several years, until 2017, she escaped
California, and found her way to Montana.
She now lives here with her two dogs Betty and Mr. Pickles, and her horse Doc. She
enjoys art and photography and her favorite place to be is on her horse in the
backcountry with her camera.
Kelli
Lead Technician
Kelli was born in Billings Montana but grew up as a military child. Her father proudly
served 23 years in the Marine Corp and because of that Kelli was able to live around
the country in places like California, Florida, and Arizona however her favorite place by
far was Japan! After graduating high school in Yuma Arizona, Kelli returned to her roots
and family, Montana. She attended Rocky Mountain College where she played soccer
and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications in 2015. She has spent the last 6
years loving on your fur-babies here at Grand Avenue Animal Hospital. Outside of work
you can find Kelli hiking, camping, snowboarding or attending as many live music
concerts as she can – particularly reggae with her boyfriend, Kyle. If she’s not in the
mountains she is snuggled up with her 3 cats – Jax, Nala & Muffin.
Cassie
Technician
Cassie was born and raised in Billings Montana. She is a former pet groomer with a
passion for animal care. Cassie shares her life with her husband, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2
leopard geckos, 2 whites tree frogs, and a ball python. When Cassie is not working
you’ll find her immersed in a great book, playing video games, or head banging at metal
concerts.
Kelsey
Technician
Kelsey’s whole world revolves around her husband Jake and her fur babies, Simba,
Dennis, Zack, and Cheeks. When she is not taking care of your furry friends here at the
hospital, you’ll find her spending time with her family, painting, or enjoying Montana’s
great outdoors.
Christy
Technician
Christy was born in Miles City, Montana and has spent her who life here. She has always wanted to be a veterinarian and has been working with us here, while she finishes her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at MSUB, in preparation for veterinary school. Christy will be attending the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State
University this fall and hopes to return after finishing her doctorate; she would like to be a mixed practice veterinarian here in Montana. On her free time you will find her and her dog Oakley on a hike or snuggling her old cat Midnight.
